Happy New Year

OK, well we have a lot to catch up with. There was Christmas Eve, Christmas, and of course New Years! While I am here, Happy New Year. I hope that your Christmas and every other holiday was wonderful! I know mine was. I know that I usually just post garden pics, but I must show off my lovely family! After all, if I didn't what type of brother/son would I be!

Okay, never mind, I can't show you any pictures. I can't find my camera at the moment. You may remember last time when I lost my camera cord, well this time it is my camera. I know that the camera is somewhere in the house, but we have had allot of people over because of the New Year, so hopefully I will find it soon! Again, if you have any suggestions on finding it, let me know!

Any way Happy NEW YEAR!

Hi there, thought I would pop by and say 'Hello' and thanks for the kind comment!

Until very recently all the images on my blog were taken with a compact digital Nikon P1 camera, then my husband bought me a Nikon D40 DSLR which I have been getting to grips with. I am still not decided which is the better camera for macro work, but the DSLR because of the telephoto lens I can add is superior for landscape and distance shots.

Glad you like the image - its one of my favourite plants for winter interest and autumn colour, it smells great too.

Hope you find your camera soon! I would hate to be without mine.

Hey Vio- I hope you find your camera real soon... I want to see more pics! I have an old old sony Cyber shot that I promptly dropped the first weekend I had it and it had a hole in the top and still worked- I just took some "mighty putty" and fixed it And it has worked fine ever since. I dont lose it anymore- I put it in a case and hang that from the coat rack in the dining room. HOpe you had a great christmas and that you have a better 2009!
